Plan Projects is an urban planning consultancy with experience in working with local authorities, private developers and communities to provide landscape architectural services and place-wide public realm, cultural and public art strategies.
Community engagement, therefore, formed a big part of the work. The Area Action Plan for Stamford Hill, for instance, was made within a multi-disciplinary team that built an evidence base and a design framework to act as the foundation for future developments of a large neighbourhood in North London.

Paesaggi migranti (Migrant Landscapes) is a group of European architects, designers, artists and educators that wants to create a new narrative around landscape through research and art languages, by activating participatory processes.

Between 2015 and 2017 Pennabilli, a dreamland corner of the Italian Appennines, has been our operational center. Here we invited artist and creatives and to take part to an open competition, a residency program and the international workshop "floating mountains" that we organized and coordinated in collaboration with the International Performing Arts "Artisti in Piazza" and many other local institutions. Currently working on several projects worldwide and "New Inhabitants of the Mountains".

Stup Making is a workshop series inspired by local heritage, born to create a buzz around the Jewellery Quarter (Birmingham, UK) and its surrounding area.
Stup was concieved together with a community engagement programme, inspired by the architecture, local heritage and ‘rapid-prototyping’ of products designed to stimulate greater community involvement in urban regeneration processes.
This edition was focused on the post-war factories clustered within the Jewellery Quarter, using pen manufacturing to stimulate commentary on local development plans and put forward by the local authority.
Bandolargo is a no-profit group of architects that delivered campaigns for the reuse of redundant buildings, for civic and social purposes, and interventions to activate poorly used public spaces in the south suburbs of Milan.
Concrete Yellow took place in an abandoned brutalist cluster in south Milan, Abbiategrasso. Built in the 70’s as a civic centre, the complex was a focal point for the neighborhood until, in the late 80’s, the businesses were replaced and it slowly turned to be abandoned.
Four place-making activities were settled up consisting in: public seating, hammocks, photography exhibition, interactive board and a stand where we were giving fresh lemonade. Main support was given by the independent theater Atir Teatro Ringhiera and the local organization Un Film Mai Visto, whose work is well known for the attachment to the local community of Abbiategrasso.
Role: content manager, from 2012.
The group was able to support and establish trends in music and to be accessible to a wide range of audience. It covers different music-related contents, news and updates about music and also pop culture.
